No explicit policy. All students currently assigned based on legal sex.

Gender-Neutral Housing Options:

Gender Inclusive housing options are in development. Current practice is to assign room/suitemates by legal sex, though Housing & Residential Education works with individual students on singles or other accommodations on case-by-case basis.

Special Interest Housing:

None directly related to LGBT issues. Social Justice Living Learning Community (http://www.du.edu/livinglearning/social_justice/index.html) for first year students is closest match.

Facilities:

List of gender neutral restrooms is available online at http://www.du.edu/cme/lgbtiqa_campus.html . Recreation Center (http://recreation.du.edu) has two types of lockerrooms available, the more expensive option providing greater privacy in shower and dressing areas.

Primary student organization is Queer Straight Alliance (QSA; www.facebook.com/groups/180270082006478), which is primarily undergraduate. School-specific organizations include: OutLaws (law), Out4Biz (business), Queer Equity Alliance (social work), and Queerbels (international studies). Other groups include an all-campus Graduate Student network and the Jewish Rainbow Alliance.

LGBTIQ and Ally programs and services are provided centrally through the Center for Multicultural Excellence: www.du.edu/cme/lgbtiqa This website lists student organizations (including email, Facebook, etc), university-provided support resources, community connections.
